At our Health Centers, you may receive therapy services up to 6 days a week depending on your individual needs.

Our physical therapists work closely with physicians, residents, and their loved ones to develop an individualized care plan to improve their ability to move, manage pain, and prevent further disability.

Our occupational therapists work with residents to develop the skills needed for daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, preparing meals, and doing housework.

Our speech therapist helps our residents with swallowing difficulties, language skills, and their ability to communicate.

On-Site Dialysis

Select Harborview Health Services locations offer on-site dialysis services for residents who need treatment for end-stage renal disease and are also in need of skilled nursing care. Residents receive dialysis in a comfortable, quiet suite specifically designated for dialysis services.

  • On-site dialysis services are provided by a licensed outpatient dialysis provider
  • Physician availability 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
  • Consistent, experienced dialysis RNs/LPNs and technicians

  • Comfortable dialysis stations with patient-controlled TVs

On-site dialysis at Harborview Health Systems avoids hours of transportation and helps keep vital services coordinated for better patient care.

MORE TIME FOR REHABILITATION

Because our dialysis services are located on-site, you will have more time for rehabilitation and working on your return to health.

Many patients are admitted to Harborview Health Systems for on-site dialysis following an acute hospital stay. We work with hospital discharge planners to ensure a seamless transition to our health center.

Our Hospital Liaison will conduct a complete assessment to ensure the appropriateness of each resident’s placement concerning their dialysis needs.

On-site dialysis services, supplies, and equipment are provided by a contracted dialysis provider and are billed separately by the provider. The dialysis provider coordinates pre-authorization for patients who participate with a Managed Care organization. Room, board, and additional charges not related to dialysis services are billed by Harborview Health Systems to Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payors.

Cardiac Management

Cardiac management at Harborview meets the medical and subacute rehabilitation needs of its residents, covering a wide range of cardiac diagnoses. These services include:

  • Clinical staff specially trained in cardiac care
  • Cardiology rounds with consulting cardiologist
  • Ongoing interdisciplinary clinical team meetings
  • Specialized cardiac diets and nutrition management
  • Lab testing and EKG / X-ray 24/7
  • Respiratory therapy services
  • Follow-up phone calls after discharge
  • Collaboration with hospital outpatient rehab program
  • Specialty rehabilitation services in cardiac care

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Dementia is not one specific disease but is a term used to describe a variety of symptoms caused by disorders that affect the brain. Alzheimer’s Disease is a progressive brain disease that slowly, over time, destroys memory and thinking skills. It is the most common cause of dementia among older people.

Unlike other health centers that offer beauty services to help a resident look a certain way, the Esteem Salon at Harborview was created to help residents look and feel their very best at no cost whatsoever.

Esteem Salon is a blessing for every resident who passes through our doors. Our Salon prides itself on being open 5 days a week FREE of charge to our residents in an inspired atmosphere unlike anywhere else.

We provide our residents with television, cable, and WiFi services in their rooms as well as in our community areas.

All of our living options are customizable, and we provide a full range of services to accommodate everyone.
